Sunday Soups: Winter Herbalism
Beverly’s winter herbal program consists of a series of informal get-togethers at her home in the Sandia Mountains.
Continuing students from summer classes gather one Sunday a month, each bringing an organic soup ingredient. These gatherings provide an opportunity for herbal camaraderie during the plants’ dormant months.
While the soup simmers, Beverly deftly facilitates herbal discussions ranging from body applications to sharing students’ personal stories to intuitive herbal exercises.
Of course, each session enjoys an amazing soup for lunch as the centerpiece of the day!

I am grateful for the slow, repetitive teaching process you have developed. It has allowed me to develop a frame of reference for attaching this plant information. And you are a delight to be around. —Carol
As the youngest in my group, I learned what getting older had in store for me. I saw that in exchange for my youth, I would gain wisdom and the freedom of evolving more into the wholeness of myself. —Monica
